My Notes about Brawler Whirled

Brawler Whirled is a hack and slash game developed by Cherub running on the Whirled platform of Three Rings. Just like Corpse Craft, this game can be played solo or in multiplayer mode. At the same time, the game features several trophies that you can add to your collection on Whirled. Being a Whirled game, this game also features a game shop, but instead of offering unlockable game modes for purchase, most of the items in the shop consist of avatars and backdrops for use with Whirled - you can use the coins you earn in the game to purchase these items, and support the game's developer.

Not all of the game's avatars are for sale, though. Each of the game's four difficulty settings offer an unlockable avatar, and although the avatar that is unlocked by the easy mode can also be bought in the shop, the other three avatars can't be bought, and can only be earned by finishing each of the game's difficulty levels.

The game's smooth, cartoon-style graphics are very well-done, and the weapon upgrades give you an incentive to try one more screen of the game. I think that it's much more fun to play this game with friends, and this game mode reminds me a lot of the hours I spent playing Streets of Rage on the Sega Genesis several years ago.

How To Play

Click the ground to move, double click to run, and use ASD to attack and defend. Keep your health up and defeat all enemies to make it through to the next stage. Rinse, repeat.

About this site
Welcome! My name is Chuck Arellano, and making simple computer games is my hobby. I post the games that I make here, as well as some other games that I like which were made by other people. I hope to add a new game to this site everyday, and to upload my own game every week. Currently, I'm focusing on making games using the Adobe Flex SDK, but I also make games using Pygame. You can read more about it at my game programming blog. I hope you enjoy your stay here, and I would love to hear your comments and suggestions!
