That’s the great thing with having so many systems – it’s all about choice! Yup, I agree that there will be some who would still prefer gamepad-based gameplay. I really am excited about the innovative direction Nintendo is taking with the Wii, hoping to bring games to more people. It will probably take some time before the Wii gets here in the Philippines, and a lot longer before it reaches an affordable price point

This has to do with the PS3. It came out a couple of days ago here(Toronto, Canada) and it has been sold out ever since. Even if the PS3 was allowed to be exported, it would be very hard to get hold of one in the first place. Another thing, i have decided that whether i like it or not, I am lazy, so i dont like having to stand up to play the Wii. sorry for this change of heart.

Good point – a better selection of software should be available by then. And I agree with you about the Wii – I’ve always been a big fan of Nintendo.

By the time PS3 comes out in Europe, there will be a big arsenal of games to choose from. When it comes out in the US, there will only be a couple of games to play (2-5)
PS. I’d prefer the Nintendo Wii over PS3
