Video Tutorial 3 - Arinoid - The Paddle
May.08, 2008 in
arinoid, pygame, screencasts
Finally! Today, we will be adding the first sprite in our game, the paddle, which is controlled using the mouse. At this point, we will be able to benefit from the setting-up that we have done in the first two screencasts.

Well man. Interresting job. But could make some effort and try to make ads less… they mix with the text, they are too near the real post and… it’s hard to read. you understand ? change the background color, i don’t know just make more readable
(you could remove this message after because it’s uninterresting)
have fun

Can I get the source code for just this stage, without the ball and everything else?

Great site and I’ve learned alot about pygame that I didn’t know yet but I agree with Peter, it would be great if you could upload the sourcecode for each stage since some people jump right into a stage that they want to learn without checking out the previous ones.
Thanks again.

all.clear(screen, levelbg.background)
AttributeError: ‘builtin_function_or_method’ object has no attribute ‘clear’
I used levelbg instead of the word arena. can you tell me why I got this error?
